Doomcaliber Knight - SJCS-EN006 - Ultra Rare - Promo Edition
ATK/DEF: 1900/1800 | Attribute: Dark | Card Number: SJCS-EN006 | Card Rules: Rulings powered by The Netrep API. 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect is a Quick Effect. When an Effect Monster's effect is activated, 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect activates in a Chain to that effect. This effect does not target. Tributing 'Doomcaliber Knight' is a cost. 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect can activate during the the Damage Step. 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect will not activate while 'Mask of Restrict' is active, because it cannot be Tributed. If 'Kuriboh's' effect is activated to negate the Battle Damage from 'Doomcaliber Knight', 'Doomcaliber Knight' is Tributed to negate 'Kuriboh's' effect. Damage has already been calculated, so if 'Doomcaliber Knight' was attacking a monster with equal or lower ATK that monster will be destroyed, and Battle Damage will be inflicted as normal. If 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect activates while 'Skill Drain' is face-up on the field, its effect is not negated because it is not on the field when its effect resolves. If 'Doomcaliber Knight' is destroyed by battle and an Effect Monster's effect activates after damage calculation ('D.D. Warrior Lady', etc.), 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect still activates. If an Effect Monster's effect is activated while multiple 'Doomcaliber Knights' are face-up on the field, they all activate and are Tributed. Their effects are chained following the rules for simultaneous effects (see the Advanced Rulings FAQ). Only the last 'Doomcaliber Knight' to resolve will be applied, and the effects of the other 'Doomcaliber Knights' disappear.Example: Player A controls 2'Doomcaliber Knights'. Player B activates an Effect Monster's effect. Both of Player A's 'Doomcaliber Knight' activate and form a Chain:Effect Monster --> Doomcaliber Knight A --> Doomcaliber Knight BOnly Doomcaliber Knight A negates the Effect Monster's effect. When multiple Effect Monster effects activate simultaneously, 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect is chained after determining the order of the Effect Monster effects (see the Advanced Rulings FAQ 'Simultaneous Effects) and will negate the Effect Monster's effect that was placed last on the Chain.Example 1: Player A Tributes her 'Sangan' and 'Witch of the Black Forest' to Tribute Summon 'Dark Magician'. 'Sangan's' effect is Chain Link 1 and 'Witch of the Black Forest's' effect is Chain Link 2. The effect of Player B's 'Doomcaliber Knight' is chained, and it will negate 'Witch of the Black Forest's' effect.Example 2: Player A and Player B have 'Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World' in their hand and Player A controls 'Doomcaliber Knight'. Player A activates 'Card Destruction'. When both copies of 'Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World' are discarded, their effects start a Chain. Player A is the turn player, so his 'Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World' is Chain Link 1 and Player B's is Chain Link 2. 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect is chained, and it will negate Player B's 'Goldd, Wu-Lord of Dark World'.Example 3: Player A's 'Giant Rat' is destroyed in battle and sent to the Graveyard while she has 'Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest' in her hand and 'Doomcaliber Knight' is face-up on the field. Player A can activate 'Giant Rat' and/or 'Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest's' effect. If she activates both effects, she chooses the order the effects are placed onto the Chain, and 'Doomcaliber Knight' will negate the effect that is placed highest on the Chain. If 'Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest' is Chain Link 1 and 'Giant Rat' is Chain Link 2, 'Doomcaliber Knight' will negate 'Giant Rat'.Example 4: If 'Sangan' is Tributed to Tribute Summon 'Raiza the Storm Monarch' while 'Doomcaliber Knight' is face-up on the field, 'Sangan's' effect is Chain Link 1 and 'Raiza the Storm Monarch's' effect is Chain Link 2. 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect is chained, negating 'Raiza the Storm Monarch's' effect and destroying it.Example 5: Player A's 'Sasuke Samurai #4' attacks Player B's 'Neo-Spacian Grand Mole' while 'Doomcaliber Knight' is face-up on the field. 'Sasuke Samurai #4's' effect is Chain Link 1 and 'Neo-Spacian Grand Mole' is Chain Link 2. 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect is chained, and it will negate and destroy 'Neo-Spacian Grand Mole'. If an Effect Monster's effect that is not optional activates, even if it would not do anything when it resolves, it will still be negated by 'Doomcaliber Knight'. Example: Player A's face-down 'Magician of Faith' is attacked by Player B's 'Doomcaliber Knight' while Player A has no Spell Cards in his Graveyard. 'Magician of Faith's' Flip Effect activates and 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect activates in a Chain to it. If your 'Doomcaliber Knight' attacks an Effect Monster with a non-continuous effect and destroys it while you control 'Dark Ruler Ha Des', when the Effect Monster's effect activates 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect is still chained. If 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect would destroy a monster on the field, 'My Body as a Shield' can be chained. Even if 'Book of Moon', etc., is chained to 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect and flips the Effect Monster face-down, the Effect Monster's effect is still negated by 'Doomcaliber Knight' and it is still destroyed. If 'Light and Darkness Dragon' and 'Doomcaliber Knight' are face-up on the field when a Spell or Trap Card is activated, 'Light and Darkness Dragon's' effect is chained to the Spell or Trap Card and 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect is chained to 'Light and Darkness Dragon'. If 'Doomcaliber Knight' attacks an Attack Position 'Reflect Bounder', when 'Reflect Bounder's' effect activates 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect is chained. 'Doomcaliber Knight' negates 'Reflect Bounder's' effect and destroys it. Damage Calculation is not conducted. If 'Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle's' effect is activated when it is Special Summoned and 'Doomcaliber Knight's' effect is activated, 'Doomcaliber Knight' will negate the effect of 'Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle' that Special Summons 'Crystal Beast' monsters and destroy it. The player controlling 'Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle' can place it into their Spell and Trap Card Zone. | Card Type: Effect Monster | Condition: | Edition: Promo | Level: 4 | Monster Type: Fiend | Name: Doomcaliber Knight | Passcode: 78700060 | Rarity: Ultra Rare | Set: Shonen Jump Championship

Shrink - SJC-EN003 - Ultra Rare - Promo Edition
ATK/DEF: | Attribute: Spell | Card Number: SJC-EN003 | Card Rules: Rulings powered by The Netrep API. This card can be activated during the Damage Step, before Damage Calculation. If a monster affected by 'Shrink' is turned face-down and face-up again that turn, the effect of 'Shrink' is no longer applied. Even if a monster is targeted by multiple copies of 'Shrink', its ATK will still be half of its original ATK. For example, if a monster with 1400 original ATK is affected by 2 copies of 'Shrink', its ATK will be 700 NOT 350. The effect of 'Shrink' works like 'Megamorph', setting a new current ATK based on original ATK. If the same monster is targeted by both 'Shrink' and 'Megamorph', only the effect of the card that resolved last will be applied. If a monster's ATK is modified by a Field or Equip Spell Card, or a Continous Effect of a monster or Trap Card, etc., and it is targeted by 'Shrink', first calculate half of its original ATK, then add the appropriate modifiers from the Equip Spell, etc. If 'Shrink' affects a monster whose original ATK is set by its effect when it is Summoned, like 'Maju Garzette', 'Chimeratech Overdragon' or 'Megarock Dragon', that monster's ATK will become 0, and remain 0 even after the effect of 'Shrink' wears off. If 'Shrink' affects a monster with ATK that varies due to its Continuous Effect, like 'Gren Maju Da Eiza' or 'King of the Skull Servants', that monster's ATK will be halved. If its ATK changes due to its own effect in the same turn, recalculate the effect of 'Shrink' based on the new original ATK. When the effect of 'Shrink' wears off, that monster's ATK will be calculated as normal. If 'Shrink' affects a monster whose ATK is doubled by 'Limiter Removal', that monster's ATK will become half of its original (printed) ATK. If 'Bottomless Trap Hole' is activated in response to a Summon and 'Shrink' is chained so that the monster's ATK is less than 1500 when 'Bottomless Trap Hole' resolves, that monster will not be destroyed and removed from play by 'Bottomless Trap Hole'. If a monster affect by 'Shrink' attacks while 'Mirror Wall' is in play, both effects are applied and the monster's ATK becomes 1/4 its original ATK. Because 'Mirror Wall' continually recalculates, the result is the same no matter which card is activated first. If a monster whose ATK is reduced by 'Dark Jeroid' is affected by 'Shrink', first calculate half that monster's original ATK, then subtract 800 for 'Dark Jeroid's' effect this becomes the monster's current ATK. If 'Exarion Universe' is targeted by 'Shrink', its ATK will become half of its original ATK, even if its effect to reduce its own ATK by 400 has been used. [Re: Amazoness Spellcaster] If either of the targeted monsters is affect by 'Shrink' before 'Amazoness Spellcaster' resolves, the ATK values printed on the monsters will be switched, and the effect of 'Shrink' effectively disappears. If a monster that has its original ATK changed by 'Amazoness Spellcaster' is affected by 'Shrink', its ATK will become half of the changed original ATK. [Re: Arcana Force I - The Magician] If 'Arcana Force I - The Magician' is affected by a Spell Card that changes its ATK, like 'Shrink' or 'Rush Recklessly, ' first the Spell Card's effect is applied, then 'Arcana Force I - The Magician's' effect is applied, changing its current ATK to twice its original ATK, or 2200. [Re: Black Garden] If a monster has its ATK halved by 'Black Garden', and afterwards its original ATK is halved by 'Shrink', the monster's ATK becomes half its original ATK. When the effect of 'Shrink' is no longer applied, the monster's ATK returns to its original ATK. [Re: Darkblaze Dragon] If 'Darkblaze Dragon' has its original ATK and DEF doubled to create a new current ATK and DEF and 'Shrink' is used on the 'Darkblaze Dragon', the current ATK of 'Darkblaze Dragon' becomes half of its original ATK. (its ATK would be 600 and its DEF would be 2000) [Re: Fusion Devourer] If 'Shrink' is activated in the Damage Step targeting a Fusion Monster battling 'Fusion Devourer', that Fusion Monster's ATK will be 0 for Damage Calculation. [Re: Goggle Golem] If 'Goggle Golem' has its ATK halved by 'Shrink' and it is Normal Summoned again, its ATK will be half its new original ATK, or 1050. (This is the same whether 'Shrink's' effect was applied before or after 'Goggle Golem' was Normal Summoned again.) [Re: Gradius' Option] 'Shrink' has no effect on 'Gradius' Option'. [Re: Karate Man] If the effect of 'Shrink' is applied after 'Karate Man's' effect has been used, its ATK will become 500. If 'Karate Man' is affected by 'Shrink', then its effect is activated, its ATK will become 2000. [Re: Light and Darkness Dragon] If 'Shrink' is used to halve the original ATK of 'Light and Darkness Dragon', the original ATK of 'Light and Darkness Dragon' is halved to create a new current ATK and then the ATK and DEF lost by the effect of 'Light and Darkness Dragon' is reapplied. Example: If you use the second effect of 'Light and Darkness Dragon' twice (500 X 2 = 1000 lost ATK and DEF) and 'Shrink' is used to halve the original ATK of 'Light and Darkness Dragon', the effect of 'Shrink' is applied (2800 / 2 = 1400 ATK) and then 'Light and Darkness Dragon's'ATK is reduced by 1000 (1400 - 1000 = 400) for a total of 400 ATK and 1400 DEF. When the effect of 'Shrink' is no longer applied (because the turn had ended, etc.), reapply the lost ATK and DEF to the 'Light and Darkness Dragon's' original ATK of 2800. (In our example, the values would be 1800 ATK and 1400 DEF) [Re: Riryoku] If this card targets a monster that is affected by 'Shrink', its ATK will become half of the halved ATK, or 1/4 its original ATK. If a monster whose ATK is halved by 'Riryoku' is affected by 'Shrink', its ATK will become half of its original (printed) ATK. [Re: Shield & Sword] If 'Shrink' affects a monster affect by 'Shield & Sword' after 'Shield & Sword's' effect is applied, its ATK will be half of the switched ATK (ie., half of its original DEF). If 'Shield & Sword's' effect is applied after 'Shrink's', that monster's ATK will become equal to its original DEF, and its original DEF will be equal to its original ATK (The effect of 'Shrink' effectively disappears). [Re: Twin-Shield Defender] 'Twin-Shield Defender's' effect targets 1 face-up monster your opponent controls.'Twin-Shield Defender' halves the current ATK of the targeted monster, including any gains and/or losses from effects.Example 1: 'Sangan' equipped with 'Axe of Despair' has 2000 ATK. If its ATK is halved by 'Twin-Shield Defender' it will have 1000 ATK.Example 2: 'Sangan's' original ATK is halved by 'Shrink' to 500 ATK. If its ATK is halved by 'Twin-Shield Defender', it will have 250 ATK. [Re: Twin-Shield Defender] If 'Shrink' or 'Megamorph' is activated after 'Twin-Shield Defender's' effect resolves, 'Twin-Shield Defender's' effect disappears.Example 1: If 'Sangan's' ATK is halved by 'Twin-Shield Defender' to 500 ATK and afterwards its original ATK is halved by 'Shrink', it will have 500 ATK.Example 2: If 'Sangan's' ATK is halved by 'Twin-Shield Defender' to 500 ATK and afterwards it is equipped with 'Megamorph', it will have 500 ATK or 2000 ATK (depending on Life Points). [Re: Unstable Evolution] 'Unstable Evolution' changes the equipped monster's original ATK. If the equipped monster is targeted by 'Shrink', its original ATK determined by 'Unstable Evolution' is halved. | Card Type: Quick-Play Spell | Condition: | Edition: Promo | Level: | Monster Type: | Name: Shrink | Passcode: 55713623 | Rarity: Ultra Rare | Set: Shonen Jump Championship
